Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Operate light equipment for street cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist with stormwater drainage system upkeep
- Conduct facility inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Respond to citizen service requests promptly
- Maintain accurate work records and safety compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during city projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- 1+ years of maintenance or construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
