Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public park facilities.
- Operate heavy machinery, including backhoes, bulldozers, and dump trucks, in accordance with safety regulations.
- Assist in flood control measures, including the cleaning of storm drains and creeks.
- Repair and maintain municipal signage, guardrails, and traffic control devices.
- Respond to emergency service requests regarding public infrastructure.
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
