Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including dump trucks, backhoes, and skid steers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during inclement weather.
- Inspect municipal infrastructure for hazards and report necessary repairs immediately.
- Participate in community beautification projects and park maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
