As a Municipal Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our city's infrastructure, roads, and parks. Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance tasks on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, rollers, and jackhammers safely and efficiently.
- Assist in traffic control and flagging operations during road work and utility projects.
- Inspect public infrastructure for safety hazards and report findings to supervisors.
- Collaborate with engineering and planning teams on project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment storage area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Arizona Class A or B Driver's License (depending on role specialization).
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is preferred.
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and background check.
- Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of safety protocols (OSHA).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
