Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on city roads, bridges, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., graders, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during inclement weather
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of public works assets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction/maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GIS mapping systems preferred
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
