Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (trucks, mowers, heavy machinery)
- Perform road repairs, street sweeping, and storm drain maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and infrastructure
- Respond to weather-related emergencies (snow removal, flooding)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Oklahoma Class C Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- 2+ years experience in public works or construction maintenance
- Certification in equipment operation (e.g., CDL, forklift)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
