Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery for infrastructure projects (street repairs, drainage systems)
- Perform routine inspections of municipal facilities and public spaces
- Respond to weather emergencies (snow removal, flood control)
- Manage waste collection operations across designated city zones
- Collaborate with engineering teams on public improvement projects
- Document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
- Minimum 2 years municipal or public works experience
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (excavators, graders)
- Basic knowledge of GIS mapping systems
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- High school diploma or equivalent required
