Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (snowplows, street sweepers, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance on city infrastructure (roads, drainage systems)
- Respond to public service requests and environmental concerns
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city projects
- Participate in emergency response operations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years equipment operation or maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
