Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery for road repairs and construction projects
- Perform routine inspections of public facilities and infrastructure
- Respond to emergency service calls during weather events
- Collaborate with engineering teams on municipal improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and city protocols
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Assist in disaster recovery and public safety initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Class A or B CDL license
- Minimum 2 years' experience in public works or construction
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
