Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for industrial-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum implementation strategies
- Research emerging quantum phenomena for practical applications
- Quantify quantum advantage benchmarks against classical systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into functional prototypes
