Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems

- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Patents or peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing preferred
