Responsibilities
- Design quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for practical applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud computing infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams on superconducting qubit optimization
- Create roadmaps for quantum advantage in financial modeling and drug discovery
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in IEEE journals
- Secure partnerships with NASA, IBM Quantum, and academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum annealing and D-Wave systems
- Strong background in cryptography or computational chemistry
