Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 2026-era computational challenges
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in qubit coherence and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with NASA and CERN on quantum simulation projects
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature symposiums
- Mentor PhD fellows in quantum information science
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or related field (required)
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion traps
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects (preferred)
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum machine learning libraries
