Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum security protocol implementations against emerging threats
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and error correction
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-level stakeholders
- Research quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (QASM, Qiskit, or Q#)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
