Responsibilities
- Conduct System Analysis: Evaluate complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Technical Implementation: Oversee the deployment of new systems and upgrades, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for state agencies, translating technical jargon into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all system architectures comply with state and federal cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in current workflows and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management within the public or private sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly desirable.
- Agile Methodology: Demonstrated experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
