Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of critical IT systems for municipal operations.</li><li>Collaborate with government stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations and security standards.</li><li>Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.</li><li>Identify areas for process improvement and recommend innovative technology solutions.</li><li>Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts and junior developers on the team.</li><li>Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments to maintain data integrity.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or IT project management.</li><li>Proven experience working within the public sector or with government contractors is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or .NET frameworks.</li><li>Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cybersecurity best practices.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a valid government security clearance (if applicable to role).</li></ul>
