Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures utilizing superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Contribute to quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
- Stay current with breakthroughs in quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Experience with quantum annealing and D-Wave systems
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of quantum security protocols and post-quantum cryptography
