Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error-correction frameworks for scalable quantum systems
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum computing research initiatives
- Create architectural blueprints for hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research
- Strong understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in quantum hardware engineering preferred
