Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Lead research on quantum supremacy implementations in real-world scenarios
- Architect secure quantum communication networks resistant to decryption
- Optimize quantum algorithms for specific industry use cases
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract work
