Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen blockchain security
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into existing HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Publish research in Nature Quantum Information and IEEE Transactions
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit design principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (MS + 5 years experience accepted)
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ for quantum algorithm development
- Prior work with quantum annealing or D-Wave systems
