Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with major quantum computing platforms
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for error correction and scalability
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Create comprehensive documentation and technical specifications for quantum systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development using Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulation tools and quantum hardware interfaces
