Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical high-performance computing systems
- Collaborate with materials science teams to optimize qubit stability and coherence times
- Author technical white papers and patents for next-generation quantum computing architectures
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python/C++
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical engineering solutions
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
