Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental validation on 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Develop error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum advantage
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical workflows
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, etc.)
- Publication record in top quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Security clearance for classified research projects
