Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and optimize 128-qubit quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and develop quantum computing educational materials
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information science
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional R&D teams
