Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications for finance and healthcare
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI systems
- Present findings at international conferences like Q2B and IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum complexity theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Published peer-reviewed research in quantum information science
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with HPC optimization knowledge
- Clearance for government quantum security projects (if applicable)
