Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms to solve complex data optimization problems and enhance processing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum computing solutions into existing cloud infrastructure and legacy systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and debugging of data pipelines using advanced quantum simulators and hardware.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, system specifications, and architecture diagrams for stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and data science to drive innovation within the team.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience in quantum computing).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data architecture, or systems design.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Qiskit, C++, or Rust.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistics as applied to quantum mechanics.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
