Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing infrastructure supporting 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Design cryogenic cooling solutions for quantum processors operating at 10mK temperatures
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks achieving <10^-9 logical qubit error rates
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Establish quantum network protocols enabling secure inter-processor communication
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum control electronics and microwave engineering
- Document quantum system performance metrics and optimization roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerator systems
- Proficiency in quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit fabrication (Al/AlOx, TESLA junctions)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing systems
- Certification in quantum security protocols (NIST IR 8100, Quantum-resistant Cryptography)
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
