Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum annealing systems with sub-10 millikelvin cooling solutions
- Develop proprietary error-correction protocols for quantum coherence maintenance
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead integration of photonic interconnects between quantum processors
- Optimize quantum gate operations using machine learning frameworks
- Ensure compliance with NIST quantum security standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware troubleshooting
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing hardware development or cryogenic systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
