Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum circuit architectures tailored for near-term quantum computers (NISQ era).
- Develop error mitigation and error correction strategies to enhance computational reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity.
- Translate complex scientific requirements into robust software algorithms using Python and C++.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers in quantum computing best practices.
- Conduct rigorous performance analysis and optimization of quantum algorithms.
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum computing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, physics simulation, or systems architecture.
- Deep understanding of quantum gate models, quantum error correction, and quantum algorithms (QAOA, Grover, Shor).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and familiarity with quantum SDKs (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Strong experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for quantum workloads.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse teams.
