Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report issues
- Operate machinery safely (e.g., jackhammers, forklifts, dump trucks)
- Coordinate with remote team members via digital platforms for project planning
- Maintain accurate field notes and digital documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety standards
- Participate in emergency response operations during inclement weather
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Proficient in digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Field Service Software)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
