Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment safely
- Perform routine maintenance on public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Assist in emergency weather response and storm recovery efforts
- Document field activities via mobile apps during remote work periods
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project planning remotely
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety standards
- Participate in community beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools (mobile apps)
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong communication skills for remote team coordination
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
