Responsibilities
- Research & Identification: Identify and research public and private grant opportunities that align with our strategic goals and mission.
- Proposal Development: Write clear, persuasive, and error-free grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with program directors and finance teams to gather necessary data and ensure proposal accuracy.
- Compliance & Reporting: Monitor grant deadlines, manage the submission process, and draft required progress and final reports to maintain compliance.
- Database Management: Maintain an organized system of potential funders and track the status of all active applications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or non-profit development.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct thorough research on funding sources and write specifically to their requirements.
- Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
