Responsibilities
- Manage and process pension applications and retirement calculations for government employees.
- Ensure strict adherence to government regulations, ERISA requirements, and state-specific pension laws.
- Conduct daily audits of pension records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate complex pension information to clients and government agencies via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all pension fund transactions.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to update internal procedures based on regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or government finance.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, FERS, or similar government retirement systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
