Responsibilities
- Operate sanitation trucks and equipment for efficient waste collection
- Perform manual lifting and sorting of residential/commercial refuse
- Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols during all operations
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
- Document service activities using digital tracking systems
- Participate in emergency weather response initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (extreme heat/cold)
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Willingness to work rotating weekend shifts
