Responsibilities
- Collect residential and commercial waste/recycling materials using automated collection trucks
- Operate and maintain specialized sanitation equipment safely
- Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
- Document daily operations and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to optimize collection routes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- 1+ years experience in waste management preferred
