Responsibilities
- Collect residential and commercial trash/recycling on designated routes using automated collection trucks
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently following OSHA standards
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Interact professionally with residents and resolve service inquiries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in all weather conditions
- Complete daily route sheets and documentation accurately
- Participate in community clean-up initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee Class C Driver's License (CDL preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor
- Willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
