As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and order across city facilities and public spaces.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned municipal buildings, parks, and facilities to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
- Write detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities accurately.
- Enforce city ordinances and facility rules to maintain a secure environment.
- Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and answering inquiries.
- Conduct routine inspections of doors, windows, and fire exits.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and monitor areas for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills are a plus.
