Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and SVG.
- Optimize complex animations and physics-based interactions to ensure buttery smooth performance on all devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate creative concepts into precise technical specifications.
- Debug and resolve rendering issues, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks in complex environments.
- Create reusable 2D interaction libraries and components to accelerate team velocity.
- Stay at the forefront of 2D web graphics technology and integrate emerging standards into our stack.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development, animation, or game development.
- Deep expertise in Canvas API, WebGL, and SVG manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Excellent understanding of linear algebra and physics principles for interaction design.
- Experience with performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
