Responsibilities

- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for county executives and legislative bodies

- Collaborate with agency heads to align budget requests with strategic goals
- Implement and maintain budget control systems to ensure compliance
- Present budget recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations
- Research federal/state funding opportunities and assist in grant applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of government or municipal budgeting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling software
- Knowledge of New York State municipal finance laws and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
- CPA or Master's degree preferred
