- Train staff on records retention policies and administrative procedures
- Serve as primary liaison between city departments and governing bodies
- Implement digital archiving solutions for long-term record preservation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal government experience with records management
- Texas Certified Municipal Clerk (TCMC) designation preferred
- Expertise in Texas Local Government Code and public records laws
- Advanced proficiency in records management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
