Responsibilities
- Oversee all city records management, including vital documents, council minutes, and public records requests
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration programs
- Manage official city publications, ordinances, and legislative archives
- Serve as primary liaison between public officials and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Colorado Open Records Act and municipal regulations
- Lead digital transformation of city clerk systems and processes
- Coordinate public hearings and council meeting logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years municipal government or public sector experience
- Advanced knowledge of Colorado municipal statutes and election law
- Proficiency in records management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Notary Public certification required
- Experience managing public records requests and FOIA compliance
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-departmental initiatives
