Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official city records, ordinances, and resolutions with precision
- Oversee municipal elections, voter registration, and ballot processes ensuring compliance with Florida election laws
- Prepare and distribute City Council agendas, minutes, and official documentation
- Administer oaths of office and public record requests while maintaining confidentiality standards
- Coordinate with legal counsel on legislative compliance and public records retention policies
- Lead digital transformation of records management systems for enhanced accessibility
- Act as custodian of the city seal and official municipal documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal government or public records management experience
- Florida Municipal Clerk certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Expert knowledge of Florida Sunshine Laws and public records statutes
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems and municipal software
