Responsibilities
- Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, TCEQ, and federal regulatory standards
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with cost-benefit analysis expertise
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and government agencies
- Prepare technical documentation, environmental impact reports, and permits
- Implement sustainable infrastructure solutions for long-term community resilience
- Conduct field inspections and quality assurance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8+ years of municipal infrastructure project experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS mapping systems
- Proven track record managing public works projects over $3M
- Familiarity with federal grant applications (e.g., FHWA, FEMA)
- Strong analytical skills for complex hydraulic/hydrological modeling
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
