Responsibilities
- Design and oversee transportation infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and traffic systems
- Analyze traffic patterns and data to optimize road network efficiency and safety
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies on transportation initiatives
- Review and approve engineering submissions from contractors and consultants
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Minimum 3 years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and transportation modeling software
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT design standards and federal regulations
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required
