Responsibilities
- Oversee design and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects
- Manage capital improvement budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams for complex public works initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public works experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software
- Strong project management and budgeting skills
- Experience with Caltrans and OSHA standards
