Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and contractors, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure quality control.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and engineering calculations for public review.
- Represent the City at public meetings and engage with community stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering or public works projects.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
