Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct thorough structural analysis and design reviews to ensure compliance with city codes.
- Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
- Lead a team of junior engineers and draftspersons, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with city agencies, architects, and contractors to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New York.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software.
- Strong knowledge of New York City Building Code (NYCBC) and local regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
