Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with city departments, contractors, and the public to resolve engineering issues.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments during construction phases.
Qualifications
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of California is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of public works standards, construction methods, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
