Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the federal network environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Manage and maintain secure access controls, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce security policies and best practices.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and federal auditors.
- Stay current on emerging threats and cybersecurity trends to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret clearance with favorable adjudication history.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure support.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and SIEM technologies (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment.
