Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Implement and monitor security controls in accordance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Manage and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency requirements.
- Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to security best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles within the federal sector.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
